The Vryll Society are on hypnotic form with ‘Shadow Of A Wave’
The Liverpool quintet are currently finalising plans for their forthcoming debut LP
Having pricked up our ears with a series of oh-so-enticing singles over the past 12 months, Liverpool quintet The Vryll Society have now released another gem into the wild in the form of ‘Shadow Of A Wave’.
A hypnotic, psych-tinged affair, it’s like TOY after a heavy night - hazy and a little fuzzy around the edges, but still with a relentless undercurrent. Or, as the band put it, “a driving love song searching down a motor boulevard”.
Have a listen below and catch the band live at a series of dates throughout October.
October 7 - Manchester Neighbourhood Festival
October 19 - Newhampton Arts Centre, Wolverhampton
October 20 - Dryden Street Social, Leicester
October 21 - Ritual Union, Oxford
October 22 - The Loft, Southampton
October 23 - Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, London
