All the play-counts have been compiled from the 24/7 station’s opening week.
A couple of weeks since launch, the first stats have been compiled to show exactly what Apple Music’s Beats 1 is playing, and how regularly.
Everything started from 30th June, when Zane Lowe played unsung indie heroes Spring King. Following that, the likes of Wolf Alice and Royal Blood have featured heavily. Data compiled by Billboard and lifted from the @Beats1Plays Twitter shows that Pharrell Williams, The Weeknd and Disclosure are among the most-played artists.
Spring King are high up at #13, plus there’s room for newcomers Nao and Glass Animals.
