Right, look - we know we were perhaps a bit harsh on The Weeknd’s batshit new single ‘False Alarm’. It has its moments, okay? It’s a club banger, of sorts, if that’s what you’re into. But this new video… well.

Blood, guns, bank robbery, a weird Stockholm Syndrome subplot, loads of swears. It’s like a Call Of Duty trailer gone dreadfully awry. He’s gone full Straight To Netflix Action Show and we’re just not really sure what’s going on at all but it’s all very distressing.

Absolutely no false alarms here, everybody, this is definite death. Real alarm. Sound the fucking alarm. Good lord.
