Good on him
The Weeknd refuses to appear alongside Donald Trump on Kimmel
Abel Tesfaye and co-writer Belly cancelled their telly appearance due to their unpleasant fellow guest.

Because he’s an all-round top bloke with no tolerance for hate-filled idiots and walking toupees, The Weeknd has cancelled his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel.
Abel Tesfaye was due to record for the show last night along with Belly; who co-wrote The Weeknd’s ‘The Hills’ and ‘Often’. They were supposed to perform Belly’s new single ‘Might Not,’ which features The Weeknd. However, upon discovering that doing so would involve occupying the same room as the nightmarish human fart that is Donald Trump, the pair swiftly cancelled.
“The way I was raised was to see through all the titles in the world – from religion to race. I just didn’t want to feel like I was part of a celebration for somebody who has beliefs that the majority of us don’t agree with,” summarised Belly.
Good on ‘em.
