Theo Verney to headline DIY Presents gig in 2015
London’s Old Blue Last hosts the Brighton thrasher next January.
We figured four new music showcases in London for January might not be enough, so we’re delighted to announce that Theo Verney will headline a special one-off DIY Presents show at The Old Blue Last on Jan 17th.
The Brighton thrasher is building up to a big 2015, with a new release in the pipeline. His band have spent the past few months playing ridiculously raucous gigs that only further enhance the all-thrills fuzz of his initial releases.
Last year he released the ‘Heavy Sunn’ single on Hate Hate Hate records, following a debut EP on Italian beach Babes. Next year he’s promising to go one bigger.
Support for the night comes from Gang and Kangcho!, with DIY and Idiot King DJs seeing out Saturday night until late.
It’s free entry, with doors open from 8pm.
