Thom Yorke debuts new songs, including a potential Radiohead track
Watch him perform ‘Silent Spring’ at Pathway to Paris.
Last night (4th December), Thom Yorke played a solo acoustic set at Pathway to Paris, a concert running in line with the UN’s Climate Change Conference.
During the set, Yorke debuted two new songs, one of which looks very likely to be a track from Radiohead’s new album.
‘Silent Spring’ and an untitled track are both streaming below. On the former, Yorke makes a comment midway through that: “This is Jonny’s bit.”
Radiohead have been in the studio throughout 2015. Back in September, drummer Phil Selway commented: “We’ve got quite a busy autumn coming up. We want to finish a record and that’s where we’re at. We’re just launching ourselves into it… We’re back into it.”
Earlier this week, Thom Yorke played French TV show Le Grand Journal to play song track ‘Atoms For Peace’, alongside Flea.
