Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers To Headline Isle Of Wight
A second headliner has been announced for next year’s Isle of Wight Festival.

The Isle of Wight Festival have announced a second headliner for next year’s event; the mighty Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
Continuing the theme of American legends, the festival will have Petty et al take on the main stage headline spot on Friday 22nd June, after announcing last month that the gigantic Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band would close the festival.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker’s slot will be the band’s first ever UK festival appearance, as well as their first major UK show in over twenty years.
Other bands announced for the festival so far include Elbow, Biffy Clyro, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Example, Noah & The Whale, The Vaccines, Madness, and The Christians, as well as the aforementioned headliners.
The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from the 22nd to the 24th June at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight.
