Torche unveil taste of their new album with 'Minions'

Floridian metallers Torche are gearing up to release a brand new album early next year but in the meantime, they’ve given fans a first taste of what to expect.

The first track to be taken from their fourth record ‘Restarter’ comes in the form of ‘Minions’ (…not the yellow kind), which was debuted on this week’s Radio 1 Rock Show by Daniel P. Carter.

Taken from the band’s forthcoming full-length - which follows on from their critically-acclaimed 2012 offering ‘Harmonicraft’ - the track melds together sludgy riffs and soaring vocals, proving yet again that they’re not just your average head-bangers.

Their new record is due to be released on 23rd February through Relapse Records and will be ten songs in length. They’ll be releasing it in five different formats too: CD, LP, deluxe double LP, cassette and as a digital download. There’ll also be two extra tracks - ‘Harmonslaught’ and ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Mantasy’ - on the deluxe edition.

The tracklisting is as follows and you can listen to ‘Minions’ below.

Annihilation Affair
