Tourist debuts ‘Holding On’ featuring Joseph Salvat and Niia
William Phillips’ new single previews a debut album out this year
Fresh from picking up a Grammy Award, Tourist aka William Phillips has revealed his new single ‘Holding On’.
The new track was premiered as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record’ on Radio 1 show this evening, and features vocals from Joseph Salvat and Niia. ‘Holding On’ is released 24th May via Polydor Records.
Primed for the charts, ‘Holding On’ sees Salvat and Niia interplay with aching vocals that reflect on a lost love, underpinned by cascading synths and bubbling beats. As it reaches the climatic chorus, the duet becomes more intense as the deep bass throb and piano arrangement maximise the later head-rush of sound.
Tourist will appear at the following festival dates across spring and summer, as well as a headline show at London’s Fabric. Catch him at the following:

17-19 Coachella Festival
