Trent Reznor ‘Helping Out’ On New QOTSA Album

Nine Inch Nails frontman is working with Josh Homme on the sixth Queens Of The Stone Age release.

Trent Reznor has revealed he is “helping out” with a song from the sixth Queens Of The Stone Age album. The LP, due for release 2013, will be the first release for four years from Josh Homme’s band.

The Nine Inch Nails frontman’s theme to video game ‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops II’ and the ‘An Omen’ EP from side-project How To Destroy Angels were both released this week, but that isn’t it for Reznor. Yesterday he spoke during a Reddit AMA (‘Ask Me Anything’) about yet another of his current projects; “helping Josh out on a new QOTSA track”. This follows the news that Dave Grohl has returned to the drum kit for the recording on the album, filling in for Joey Casille who has left the band.

Queens Of The Stone Age announced they will be playing Download Festival next June for the first time in their careers, whilst Reznor has hinted as plans to tour with Nine Inch Nails.
