News Two Door Cinema Club, The Libertines, Supergrass and more to play Virgin Money Unity Arena

They’ll be performing at the UK’s first socially distanced live music arena this summer.
Announcing the UK’s first socially distanced live music arena, Virgin Money Unity Arena will officially launch at Newcastle Racecourse, Gosforth Park, on Friday 14th August and Saturday 15th August.
Although sounding pretty bloody weird, the line-up is looking pretty fab, with Two Door Cinema Club, The Libertines, Supergrass and Maximo Park among the first names announced, alongside comedy sets from the likes of Bill Bailey and a DJ set from Craig Charles.
Speaking about the announcement, Helen Page, Group Brand and Marketing Director at Virgin Money, says, “We are thrilled to announce such a strong line-up of both musicians and comedians performing at the Virgin Money Unity Arena. We are excited to bring this innovative music event to the public for what we believe will be the best live experience this summer.”
