Tyler, The Creator claims to be banned from Australia

Tyler, The Creator is claiming on his twitter account that he is banned from Australia. In the tweets, he appears to blame activist organisation Collective Shout for the so-called ban, singling out the company’s director Coralie Alison. Collective Shout has been demanding that Australia’s Immigration minister Peter Dutton block Tyler, The Creator’s Visa application, on the grounds that his music promotes violence towards women.

It’s not the first time that Tyler, The Creator has publicly attacked Collective Shout, who have been campaiging to block him from Australia for several years. Two years ago he called campaign organiser Talitha Stone a series of misogynistic expletives while she was in attendance at one of his shows.

The visa refusal would mean that Tyler, The Creator would have to cancel his upcoming September tour in Australia. However, as Mashable reports, his application is still in process, and has not been denied.
