Brooke Candy releases ‘Freak Like Me’ video

The new visuals aim to empower “other unapologetic misfits to be themselves”.

Following the release of her debut album ‘SEXORCISM’, Brooke Candy has shared the new pastel-coloured dreamy visuals for record cut ‘Freak Like Me’.

“’Freak Like Me’ is a song that my 13-year-old-self wanted and needed to embrace every element of me that has been misunderstood,” says Brooke on the track. “I’ve always felt like an outcast for being myself, but I don’t know any other way to live. My hope is that this song uplifts those that are disenfranchised or ostracized for being themselves and inspires people to find their inner freak. If everyone was their most authentic self and embraced the freak within themselves rather than suppressing it, I think the world would be a much better place. We seem to have lost touch with our inner children and our inner weirdos.”

Teaming up with TOOPOOR, the video sees the pair embracing their inner child as they frolick around an ornate mansion as the pop anthem praises being 100% unapologetically yourself.

Let your inner freak flag fly, baby.
