Watch: Hot Chip Unveil New Video For ‘Night & Day’

We were lucky enough to speak to Hot Chip about the video in the forthcoming issue of DIY.

Hot Chip have unveiled their brand new video for ‘Night & Day’ and you can watch the Peter Serafinowicz-directed clip right now.

We were also lucky enough to speak to Hot Chip about the video in the forthcoming issue of DIY magazine, and they had this to say.

“It’s a really bizarre video,” Felix Martin reveals. “It’s based around a strange religious ceremony. There’s cameos from some unexpected people. It was really funny when we turned up, because when we showed up they were shooting a bit with Lara Stone, the model, as a woman controlling a spaceship. We didn’t really know anything about what was going on, it was bizarre. Alexis’ little daughter was there, she’s about two and a half or something, and she was so excited about all the different costumes and people in make up. She was running around trying different people’s clothes on. It was really funny.”

The band’s fifth album looks set to be released on the 11th June, and will be the first album from the group to be released through Domino Records.

The follow-up to 2010’s ‘One Life Stand’, was recorded in London and self-produced, with additional production and engineering by Mark Ralph.
