Mellah shares new song ‘Family Fun’
It’s the latest look into the South London multi-instrumentalist’s debut album.
Back with his latest piece of indie-pop goodness, South London’s Mellah has shared new track ‘Family Fun’.
Lifted from his upcoming debut album, the new track explores society’s failings and who’s to blame. “I often feel quite a lot of anger at society and how people seem to ignore injustice just for a cup of tea and a comfy sofa,” he explains. “We consume these sanitised shrink-wrapped little nuggets of reality whereas the rest of the world’s crawling around in the mud. It seems crazy to me that people aren’t angry about it, don’t want it to change.”
Accompanied by a self-directed vid inspired by 90s television fave, Family Fortune, he’s also announced his biggest show to date at London’s Scala on 28th October.
