Watch: Muse Share ‘Supremacy’ Video

Muse’s ‘Supremacy’ is the best Bond theme that never was. So much so in fact, that according to the song’s Wikipedia page, there were rumours that it was in fact written for the role Adele and Paul Epworth’s ‘Skyfall’ eventually took - rumours that Bond officials have denied.

The fourth single from the one-time Devon trio’s sixth album, ‘The 2nd Law’, the song is due to be released as a single in its own right on 25th February, following the band’s set at this year’s BRIT Awards (20th February), where they’ll perform it alongside a full orchestra and choir.

If you find yourself unable to wait for that level of bombast, how about the video for the song, which pairs Matt’s crashing riffs with, er, crashing waves. And goths.

Muse are due to headline Shepherd’s Bush Empire next week for charity WarChild, before heading to the States for a North American tour.

They return this May for a UK stadium tour, kicking off (almost literally) at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 22nd May.

The dates are:

MAY
22 Coventry Ricoh Arena
25 London Emirates Stadium
26 London Emirates Stadium

JUNE
1 Manchester Etihad Stadium
