Watch Queens Of The Stone Age Reunite With Nick Oliveri On Stage
Watch Nick & QOTSA play onstage together for the first time in 10 years.
Ten years after they last played together, Nick Oliveri made a momentous appearance alongside Queens of the Stone Age at a show in Portland’s Keller Auditorium.
In 2004, the band parted ways with Oliveri. It wasn’t until 2012 that signs of repair began to appear, with Nick being invited by Josh Homme to guest on a Mondo Generator track. He subsequently guested on a QOTSA track in 2013 - ‘If I Had A Tail’ from the album ‘… Like Clockwork’.
Last night marked a huge occasion, with Nick being invited to provide vocals for ‘You Think I Ain’t Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire’ track during a gig encore. He didn’t take to his traditional role on bass, but the ravaged rendition suggests he’s very much part of the Queens family once more.
