Watch: Soak Unveils ‘Blud’ Video

17 year old Bridie Monds-Watson is signed to CHVRCHES’ Goodbye Records.

On face value it’s easy to see why SOAK - a 17 year old Irish songwriter with bucketloads of potential - is signed to CHVRCHES’ Goodbye Records (a Universal imprint that’s run by the members of the Scottish trio). Bridie Monds-Watson’s native Irish tongue runs ripe in a song like ‘BLUD’, in a similar way that Lauren Mayberry’s Scottish dialect is big chunk of why CHVRCHES are so amazing in the first place.

SOAK’s new ‘BLUD’ video is based around local landscapes, grayscale for the entirety, mixing around between sand footprints and detached buildings.

Watch the new video below. SOAK plays solo dates across the UK this month, before heading off on a tour with CHVRCHES. ‘The Blud’ EP is out 17th March on Goodbye Records.
