The Weeknd recently played a sort-of-secret show in Europe, where he showcased material from his all-out pop record ‘Beauty Behind the Madness’.
Taking place at a “private island near London”, the gig saw Abel Tesfaye giving a debut to new song ‘Mood Music’. Way more Timberlake x Timberland than the lovestruck R&B of his previous records, it’s in line with the hit-making knowhow of ‘The Hills’ and ‘I Can’t Feel My Face’.
‘Beauty Behind the Madness’ is released on 28th August via Republic. Watch footage of ‘Mood Music’ below.
