Yungblud makes grand return with epic single ‘Hello Heaven, Hello’
The Doncaster cult favourite has also just announced a surprise gig at London’s Scala.

Yungblud is well and truly back, having dropped an ambitious nine-minute track entitled ‘Hello Heaven, Hello’ to signal his return.
The expansive new number is his first release since sharing his self-titled third album back in 2022, and sees the Doncaster disruptor lean into classic rock influences for a song he’s described as “a journey of self-reclamation”.
Speaking more about the context behind ‘Hello Heaven, Hello’, Yungblud has explained: “Rock music is in my DNA. It’s the first genre I was ever exposed to; I grew up in a guitar shop with my Dad and my Grandfather. Rock music helped me find an identity as a human being”.
Continuing, he says the new single is “a goodbye to the past and how you may have known or perceived me before, and a ‘hello’ to the future and where I’m going. It’s an adventure that is sonically more ambitious than ever before - a journey that is meant to be played in its entirety, never holding back or allowing its imagination to be filtered.”
What’s more, Yungblud has also just confirmed that he’ll be celebrating the start of this new era by playing a surprise gig in London tomorrow (21st March) at Scala, for which fans had the chance to secure free tickets online. Didn’t manage to nab one? Never fear - he’ll also be bringing his very own festival - aptly titled Bludfest - to Milton Keynes’s National Bowl for its second year this June.
In the meantime, though, you can check out the Charlie Sarsfield-directed video for ‘Hello Heaven, Hello’ below.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
