Latitude 2014: Sunday 20th July
Haim, Tame Impala, Parquet Courts & more play the final day at Latitude - follow it all here.
A few tears were probably strewn when Graham Coxon joined Damon Albarn for a special rendition of ‘Tender’ at the tail-end of the Blur frontman’s headline set on Saturday night. Those tears eventually manifested into an endless, bucketload supply of rain. Sodden to the bone, punters retired for the night having either witnessed Damon’s set (full report to follow), or the insane extravaganza of Royksopp & Robyn’s collaborative performance.
One day remains, and some of the best acts have been saved until last. With The Black Keys closing out proceedings, we’ve also got Aussie giants Tame Impala playing one of the last festival sets on the back of ‘Lonerism’. More tears are guaranteed in Lykke Li’s headline performance on the 6Music Stage, and that’s without mentioning Future Islands, who look likely to provide the most over-subscribed billing with an early evening show on the iArena.
All that, plus the Eagulls/Parquet Courts clashageddon, appearances from The War on Drugs and Haim, plus James (re-billed from yesterday after cancelled flight), The Fat White Family, Woman’s Hour, Circa Waves and George Ezra.
We’ll be bringing you all the updates below, or follow our reports from today’s standout sets via the Latitude hub.
As per the rest of the weekend we’ve put together a playlist of Latitude’s best names playing Sunday 20th July.
