Latitude 2016 Oscar brings even more sunshine to Latitude 2016’s sun-kissed fields
It’s the perfect antidote to those end-of-festival blues.
As the sun starts to set on Latitude’s lakeside retreat, Oscar turns up to perform the perfect soundtrack. All baritone and silken sentiment, he slips down every bit as smooth as the festival’s countless cocktails.
Debut album ‘Cut and Paste’ is the ideal sun-kissed summer retreat – as he takes to the stage to ‘Beautiful Words’, his croon proves the perfect antidote to those festival-end-fast-approaching blues. All beautiful words (sorry) and sounds as sweet as an endless ice cream, the sun’s shining even brighter from the stage than it is from the sky.
“There are some pretty bad things going on in the world right now,” he states, taking a rare break from his usual sunny side up sentiment, “I just want us to think about all the good things”. ‘Good Things’’ title proves to be an understatement – as Oscar’s perfect pop drifts out across the lake, there’s nothing better to be found.
