OFF Festival 2012: Pissed Jeans
It’s punky, punchy and there’s a damn big circle pit from the outset.

Pissed Jeans’ frontman Matt Korvette is one person you just don’t want to rub up the wrong way – if this 45-minute set was broadcast on primetime television, the ratio of censor bleeps to audible words would probably be skewed massively towards the former. He claims the band have started a “media mosh pit” and asks us “What do Pissed Jeans, The Simpsons and Seinfeld all have in common?’ The answer: ‘We all put on a fucking great show at 7pm’. You can’t help but chuckle. Music-wise, it’s what you would expect from a band called Pissed Jeans; it’s punky, punchy and there’s a damn big circle pit from the outset.
