Pissed Jeans return with new album ‘Why Love Now?’ - hear ‘The Bar Is Low’
The Philly punks are back and on bone-grinding form.
Philadelphia punk heroes Pissed Jeans are back with new album ‘Why Love Now’, and they’re as grumbling as ever.
Lead single ‘The Bar Is Low”s certainly got an axe to grind - it’s “about how every guy seems to be revealing themselves as a shithead,” according to frontman Matt Korvette. Which is a fair point, really.
The band’s fifth album is out 24th February via Sub Pop, with pre-orders available now. Give ‘The Bar Is Low’ a spin below the tracklisting, alongside the record’s exceptional cover art. And yes, that’s their press photo of choice above. Great stuff everybody.
