Totemo previews debut EP with ‘Heavy As My Dreams’

Sleepy new track is taken from the Israeli newcomer’s first work.

Totemo is a curious new talent from Israel, making music that commands without sacrificing anything. Her vocal range is the focus of ‘Heavy As My Dreams’ - a playful new track. Without breaking the bank or opting for pointless vocal gymnastics, she manages to bend notes and look over the piece with deep-toned grace.

Linking to the lucid quality of its title, ‘Heavy As My Dreams’ is a sleep-induced hallucination. Words overlap, sometimes spinning in reverse.

It’s taken from an EP of the same name that’s due out on BLDG5 Records on 3rd November 2014.

Listen below to Totemo’s ‘Heavy As My Dreams’.
