Tuff Love announce ‘Dross’ EP, unveil jigsaw-style ‘Slammer’ video

“I’ve got stamina, I’ve got rage,” runs the mantra of Scotland band Tuff Love’s new track, ‘Slammer’. The duo of Julie Eisenstein and Suse Bear sprung up on the scene with quickfire blasts of energy, some softer on the senses than others. This newly-acquired “rage” suits them though, adding gusto to their immediate, gripping alternative rock.

‘Slammer’ is taken from the pair’s new EP, ‘Dross’, which comes out 9th February 2015 via Lost Map digitally and on 10” coloured vinyl. Their latest cut repeats an early winning formula of direct-as-sin lyrics and guitar lines that pierce the surface in a flash. Nothing about ‘Slammer’ messes around or faffs about with minor details - this is designed to make an impact from the off.

DIY’s delighted to be premiering the new video for ‘Slammer’, which sees Eisenstein and Bear chopping and changing direction in an infectious jigsaw-style dance. Watch it below.
