Matilda Mann shares newest single ‘Make Up’
It’s the third preview of her forthcoming second album, ‘Kismet’, which is due this September.

London songwriter Matilda Mann is back with another new track from her forthcoming second album.
Having already shared two cuts from her new LP ‘Kismet’ - in the form of the Sylvia Path-inspired ‘The Fig Tree’ and its predecessor ‘Bittersweet’ - she’s now offered up a third preview in the form of the sonically breezy ‘Make Up’. “‘Make Up’ is one of my favourites off the record,” Matilda has said, of the song. “The whole album is set early on in a relationship where everything is very heightened and with that comes stupid fights we all have as you get closer as a couple. ‘Make Up’ is about knowing that’s so normal and will always happen, usually because we care so much, but what’s the point of them if we can’t learn from it and move forward.”
Set to follow on from her 2025 debut ‘Roxwell’, which landed back in February last year, the singer’s new record is set to be 11 tracks in length, was written and recorded with at collaborator Jonah Summerfield’s North London studio and will be released on 4th September. Check out ‘Make Up’, and remind yourself of Matilda’s upcoming live plans, below.
