The Invisible return with ‘Easy Now’
Track is taken from new album sessions, where they’ve been in the studio with Floating Points.
The Invisible have returned with slick and spacious new single ‘Easy Now’, a cut from their recent studio sessions for a new album.
The track’s been shared on Ninja Tune’s Soundcloud, with frontman Dave Okumu saying this about the new cut: “George Clinton once said, “funk is anything you need it to be to save your life”. We have always agreed. Serenading the unseen has become easier now.”
Since 2012’s ‘Rispah’ LP, members of The Invisible haven’t been work-shy - they’ve recently teamed up with Lana Del Rey, Grace Jones, Jessie Ware and Adele. For their new record, they’ve been in the studio with Floating Points, and they’ll be teaming up with the producer as part of his live band for tonight’s (26th August) Dimensions Festival Boiler Room set, aired from 6pm GMT.
