Dowsing get top marks on ‘Hold’

The track, taken from an upcoming split on Topshelf Records, is premiering first on DIY.

Two of America’s brightest hopes in emo, Dowsing and Ratboys, are coming together via good eggs Topshelf Records to release a split 7” next month.

The Chicago pair have penned two tracks each for the new release, and we have the first play of Dowsing track ‘Hold’.

‘Hold’ is a quick-fire hit, full of life and inserting the band’s twinkly emo with something more punky and gritty. It works a treat.

Get the first listen to ‘Hold’ below, and pre-order the split here.

Dowsing and Ratboys are set to head off on a huge world tour - including UK and European dates - to celebrate the release of the split. Dates for that one can be viewed on the poster below.
