Washed Out pieces it together in the video for ‘Get Lost’

Washed Out is back! Ernest Greene’s project hasn’t released anything since 2013’s ‘Paracosm’ but he’s re-emerged with a brand new single, his first on new label Stones Throw Records. ‘Get Lost’ is also accompanied by a pretty mind-warping new video, directed by Harvey Benschoter. It’s a meticulously pieced-together collage of images (possibly from magazines and other paraphernalia) that takes us on a journey. It’s bright, colourful, and pretty darn ridiculously creative. It’s easy to get lost in. As well as sharing the new video, Washed Out has announced a short string of North American tour dates, which will take place in July. Kicking off in Norfolk, VA, he’ll be off to Carrboro, Charlotte, Charleston, Orlanda, Jacksonville, Tampa, rounding it all off in Atlanta.
