Major Lazer shares new track ‘Lean On’, featuring MØ

Major Lazer - the electronic project featuring Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire - have shared a new track titled ‘Lean On’.

A collaboration with DJ Snake, the track features vocals from MØ, and is expected to feature on Major Lazer’s third untitled album, out April via Mad Decent.

Reminiscent of MØ’s Diplo produced ‘XXX 88’, ‘Lean On’ is a punchy pop hook characterised by trap hallmarks, Ørsted’s rallying heys and skewed vocal samples. “Focus, fire a gun. We need someone to lean on”, sings MØ on the chorus, backed by a vibrant sounds that present shades of the summer ahead.

Diplo confirmed at last month’s Grammy Awards that the upcoming Major Lazer album features contributions from Pusha T, Ellie Goulding and Ariana Grande. Listen to ‘Lean On’ below.
