How Bruised How Broken...
Florence Welch broke her foot while playing Coachella
She’s hoping to ‘Shake It Out’ for next week’s event.
Florence + The Machine’s world tour is set to continue, despite Florence Welch breaking her foot (bloody hell) at last weekend’s edition of Coachella.
Taking to Facebook, Welch revealed that she broke a bone while “leaping off the stage”. She admitted that future performances would be “somewhat stripped back” (no climbing stage rigs, this time) and she says she’s “pretty devastated.”
“By the time Glastonbury rolls around I should be back on my feet,” she continued. “I understand this is not what you were expecting, but I hope its [sic] just as enjoyable. I’m going to try and make it super special for you.”
Florence was amongst 70+ additions to Glastonbury yesterday - she’ll be joined by Alt-J, Caribou and more at Worthy Farm.
New album ‘How Big How Blue How Beautiful’ is due out 2nd August.
