DIY favourites Florence + The Machine, Biffy Clyro, Ashnikko and Antony Szmierek are just a handful of the first names to be announced for next year’s edition of Sziget festival.

The Hungarian event - which will take place on Budapest’s Óbuda Island from 11th to 15th August 2026 - have kicked off the festivities with a bang, today announcing four huge headliners including the aforementioned Florence Welch, as well as Lewis Capaldi, twenty one pilots and newcomer SOMBR. They’ll all be appearing at what the festival are calling their “Island of Freedom takeover”.

Other acts announced in this first wave include artists spanning a variety of genres; from Underworld and Tash Sultana, through to Lambrini Girls, ALT BLK ERA and Brooke Combe. Some early bird tickets still remain on sale, so grab them now, before general tickets take over on 16th December.
