Lana Del Rey plays three ‘Honeymoon’ tracks at Maida Vale session
She dropped by BBC Radio 1 to perform ‘High by the Beach,’ ‘Terrence Loves You,’ and title-track ‘Honeymoon’.

Lana Del Rey swung by BBC Radio 1’s Maida Vale studios yesterday to play three tracks from new album ‘Honeymoon’ live in session. She performed ‘High by the Beach,’ ‘Terrence Loves You,’ and the title-track with her band. Her fourth album, ‘Honeymoon’ came out last Friday (18th September).
“It’s Lana’s own style, and in a world where the biggest pop acts construct their own universe, hers could be the most distinct and untouchable,” wrote DIY’s own Jamie Milton, reviewing ‘Honeymoon’. Speaking about her album process previously, Lana Del Rey told Zane Lowe on his Beats1 show that she almost begun her fourth record by accident. “The jumping off point was the end of the other one,” she said. “I wasn’t feeling too tired, still feeling inspired like I could keep going. I didn’t think it would turn into an entirely new record, but by January I’d written three-quarters of a record, and it felt really good.”
