Big Ups return with ‘Capitalized’
Sucker punch single looks to be from a second LP.
Post-hardcore bruisers Big Ups are back.
They’ve announced a furious return with ‘Capitalized’, a roaring statement of intent centred around a hypnotic, rhythmic bassline. Stream it below. It appears to be taken from a second album, if the accompanying teaser video is to be trusted. Looks like that’s called ‘Before A Million Universes’ and is set for release on Brace Yourself Records, Tough Love Records and Exploding In Sound Records. “Spring 2016” for that, says the vid - that’s below too.
The record follows Big Ups’ debut ‘Eighteen Hours of Static’ LP, released back in January 2014. We headed in the studio with them earlier this year while they recorded their second work - catch up with that here.
