Run The Jewels take Coachella by storm, debut new track ‘Scenes’
Killer Mike and El-P opened their set with a brand new track.
Killer Mike and El-P, aka. Run The Jewels, played Coachella over the weekend, taking to the stage on Saturday (16th April), They opened their set with a brand new track called ‘Scenes’.
The song, a taste of their currently in-production third album ‘RTJ3,’ is a venomous cut, and a blast of sirens, paired with both members’ untamed delivery.
Just a couple of days ago, Run the Jewels shared another new song - their ‘Nobody Speak’ collaboration with DJ Shadow. They’ve also confirmed that ‘RTJ3’ is halfway done.
Run The Jewels were introduced on stage by Bernie Sanders, who prepared a video to welcome the group . Nas, DJ Shadow and quite a few others also popped along during the show.
