Haim dish the details on their new album, hopefully out this year
Trio have been working with Rostam Batmanglij and Ariel Rechtshaid.

Haim have broken a silence by discussing their new album, due for release later this year.
Almost three years on from debut ‘Days Are Gone’, the trio discussed a follow-up with Rolling Stone. As with the debut, they started in their Los Angeles home, before moving on to Ariel Rechtshaid’s Silver Lake studio. Alongside Rechtshaid, they’ve also been working with former Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij.
Speaking about how they approached the new LP, Danielle Haim said: “On the first record, we were really obsessed with mixing the two in a way where you couldn’t tell if a snare was real or a sample. We still love that, but this time we came at it from a more organic, rock standpoint. Because when we play live, we realize that ultimately, we’re a rock band.”
Working song titles include ‘Nothing’s Wrong’ and ‘Little of Your Love’. They’re still in the middle of recording, but they hope to release the second work before the end of 2016.
