Well, shit
Haim cancel all forthcoming European festival dates
They’re not quite done with that new album and need to time to wrap it up, apparently. Bugger.

Well this is an awful shitter - Haim have cancelled all their forthcoming festival dates in Europe.
In a note posted to their social media, the trio confirmed that Reading & Leeds, Way Out West, Tivoli, Oya, Frequency, Krakow, Zurich Openair and Electric Picnic are all off the list, as they need the time to finish up their new album.
“We’re at a critical point of finishing up and need to stay close to home until it’s complete” they explain. “Promise we’ll be back in the near future,” they go on.
Bit of a bummer, but what can you do? Read the statement in full below. On the plus side, the tracks they’ve been playing from the ‘Days Are Gone’ follow-up are sounding pretty fucking great so far. We’re getting awfully excited about that new Haim album - just get a move on girls, yeah?

HAIM: Calling It Quits
Now over a decade into their career, HAIM have long since hit their stride — and, having already spent years navigating the industry’s infamous fickleness, on fourth record ‘I quit’ they literally “don’t give a fuck”. With a period of break-ups, overthinking, and crippling self-doubt now behind them, the LA sisters are letting their hair down, ready to abandon fear and embrace a summer of vulnerability, freedom, and fun.
