Rock the vote
Local Natives are streaming a new song via Election FM
Americans can hear the track by using the app at their nearest US polling station.
It probably hasn’t escaped your notice that there’s an election happening today in America, where the country will be deciding who it wants as its next President. Needless to say, it’s pretty important that people go out and vote. If you also happen to be a fan of Local Natives, there’s now also an added incentive for taking part in democracy.
The band are releasing a brand new song via Rock the Vote and Goodby Silverstein & Partner’s new app Election FM, but there’s a catch: you can only hear the track if you vote. If any Americans aren’t sure where their nearest polling station is though, the app will even give directions – handy!
As well as Local Natives, there’s also new tracks from Watsky as well as The Head and the Heart streaming on the app. As if people needed more reasons to vote…
