Black Country, New Road release new track ‘Sunglasses’
It’s the eight-minute-long follow up to debut track ‘Athen’s, France’.
Eight minutes of Black Country, New Road to kick off our day? Don’t mind if we do!
The follow-up to debut track ‘Athen’s, France’, the chaotically brilliant new track from the seven-piece is a biting song that keeps you hypnotised for its whole eight minute run. “It describes a series of events, loosely connected, all yet to happen,” frontman Isaac Wood says. “The song was intended to be highly inspirational. The lyrics are sometimes concerned with symbols of wealth or affluence but they are not written from a critical or even external position.”
