Beck To Release ‘Song Reader’ Sheet Music Collection
‘Beck Hansen’s Song Reader’ will be compiled of twenty separate songs, all entirely original and totally unrecorded.

Beck has revealed plans for some brand new material, hurrah! However, there’s a catch. It’s not actually recorded…
Yes, that’s right. We’ve waited eagerly since 2008’s ‘Modern Guilt’. We’ve gotten our excited over his country stylised Third Man Records single ‘I Just Started Hating Some People Today’. We got our hopes up over his production collaborations. Heck, we even pinned our dreams on a video game soundtrack. And alas, he has unveiled details of his next project: a sheet music collection.
‘Beck Hansen’s Song Reader’ will be compiled of twenty separate songs, all entirely original and totally unrecorded; simply written as sheet music.
Released as a full book by Faber & Faber, the songs come complete in a hardback case with full-colour, unique art by the likes of Marcel Dzama, Leanne Shapton, Josh Cochran and Jessica Hische.
You can expect ‘Beck Hansen’s Song Reader’ to appear on shelves in December.
