Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are set to release new album ‘Hysterical’ in September.
The record is due on September 12th in the UK, Japan and Australia, with a US release coming on September 20th. The band’s first album in over four years will be produced by John Congleton (Explosions In The Sky, Okkervil River, The Mountain Goats), and will be supported by their first live appearances since 2009.
CYHSY will appear at End of the Road Festival 2011, The Berlin Festival in Berlin, Germany, San Francisco’s Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival and Los Angeles’ Sunset Junction Street Fair. There’s also a set of European headline dates, with September stops set for Sheffield, Brighton, London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, and Cologne with more shows to be announced shortly.

The band are also set to re-issue their self titled debut album, remastered for an exclusive vinyl only release on June 14th.
