New York outfit BODEGA announce new album ‘All Inside Aquarium’
The band’s fourth album was recorded with Matt Peel in Leeds, and will be released this October.

New York outfit BODEGA are back with more new music! The band have announced details of their fourth studio album, ‘All Inside Aquarium’.
The quintet will follow up their 2024 record ‘Our Brand Could Be Yr Life’ - and the “mysterious” 2025 release, ‘Rot in Helvetica’, which came from their doppelgangers NODEGA… - later this year, when they release their newest full-length on 9th October via Chrysalis Records. Set to be twelve tracks in length, the album was recorded across a month and a half in the UK, with producer Matt Peel (Yard Act, Eagulls) at his deconsecrated church studio, the Nave in Leeds. Recorded live, in order to capture the real essence of their live shows, the album was then mixed in Brighton with Theo Verney.
Alongside the news of their new release, the band have its lead single - the album’s title track - alongside a video directed by the band’s percussionist/vocalist Nikki Belfiglio. They’ve also confirmed plans to preview the album at three upcoming NYC hometown performances.
“This track is an attempt at an existential anthem,” the band’s guitarist/vocalist Ben Hozie has said of ‘All Inside Aquarium’. “Pain (after it subsides) can bring you closer to a beatific perspective where dichotomy disappears and curious creativity calmly trickles out like the faucet tube in the tub —> Being there, you remember all is connected and paradoxically emerge more yourself despite recognising you are a mere flake in the fish-tank of cosmic oneness. Nobody can really mess with your head except yourself when you take responsibility for your reality.”
As well as their upcoming NY shows, the band have also announced plans for a series of shows across the UK and Europe. Check out the video for ‘All Inside Aquarium’ below, and dig into the album’s tracklisting and their touring plans underneath the player.
