Man/Woman/Chainsaw share latest ‘Cannonball’ preview ‘Get Up and Dance’
The ethereal new track gets lifted from their forthcoming debut album, which will land this August.

As the release of their debut album draws ever closer, Man/Woman/Chainsaw have offered up another preview of it.
Marking the fourth track to be lifted from their forthcoming first full-length, ‘Cannonball’ - which is set to hit shelves and streaming platforms on 7th August via Fiction Records - the ethereal ‘Get Up and Dance’ follows recent releases ‘Nosedive’ and ‘Only Girl’, and doubles as the first track to feature Emmie-Mae Avery on lead vocals.
“In my mind it’s set in a club, where you spot someone who’s been trying their luck with different people all night and decide to turn the game back on them,” she has said of the track itself. “It starts playful but then takes a forceful approach, as you push them to prove their interest and test how far they’ll go, aiming to have them make a fool of themselves.”
As well as sharing their newest track, the band have also confirmed plans for a special instore tour in support of the album’s release. Listen to ‘Get Up And Dance’ below, and check out their full live schedule underneath the player.
