The newly established John Peel Festival of New Music is set to take place in Norwich this year.
The Norwich Sound and Vision festival will play host to the three-day event, which is set to take place from the 11th to the 13th October.
The festival will have around fifty bands playing across ten venues around the city, as well as a charity show - scheduled to take place on the 10th October - in aid of the John Peel Centre for Creative Arts.
John Peel’s widow, Sheila Ravenscroft, commented on the establishing of such an event, saying: ‘I’m very pleased that an organization like Norwich Arts Centre is keeping the spirit and legacy of John’s passion alive.’
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
