Listen: Neneh Cheery Unveils ‘Everything’ Track

production is bound to be the focus of Neneh Cherry’s returning gambit ‘Blank Project’, but closing track on the record, ‘Everything’, proves there’s plenty more to show an interest in on top of the comeback aspect and album credits.

Built on minimal, snap and crackling percussion, Neneh recounts doctor’s diagnosis, crack pedlars on the streets, in a song that gradually evolves into a monstrous number. Neneh’s literally cackling by the end.
