Watch A Trailer Teaser For Spoon’s New Album

Four years on from ‘Transference’ and Spoon are finally ready to unveil their new album. It’s one week away from completion, according to an update on 9th March, and the band have shared a quick-flick teaser called ‘Hi’ which spans under 30 seconds but very much decidedly marks their return.

Rich acoustics; sharp, strutting studio quality; gruff-voiced Britt Daniel vocals - it’s all there, even in these fleeting 26 seconds.

The trailer links up with a series of song titles being shared at the tail-end of last year. They include ‘Naff Bag’, ‘Millionaires’, ‘The Rent I Pay’, ‘Let Me Be Mine’, ‘Modern Girls’, ‘Give Me It’, ‘I Ain’t the One’ & ‘Fresh From Your Pages’.

The album is being recorded with Jim Eno in Austin, Texas.
