Get Excited About... The rest of 2015 is set to serve up albums that have been anticipated for years

DIY preview the long-awaited returns and surprise comebacks that are looking due before the end of the year.

2015 so far hasn’t been short on surprise releases, long-awaited comebacks and sophomore albums from Brits on the rise. Kendrick Lamar released ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ a week early in March, Sleater-Kinney solidified their comeback with January’s ‘No Cities To Love’, and the likes of Joanna Gruesome, East India Youth and Drenge have taken the success of their debuts and ran. Some of the biggest acts in the world have also been stirring recently, making the second half of 2015 an impossibly exciting time to look ahead to, both in albums with tied down release dates and details, and those where little is known for sure but hints are starting to emerge.

DIY have tied together all the cryptic tweets, studio update posts and live YouTube recordings of the off-cycle bands that are wanted back by so many, and tried to see when they’ll return, and what it might sound like.
