This time last year, Circa Waves were one of the hot new acts DIY was about to tip in the Class of 2014. Twelve months later, and the Merseysiders are putting the finishing touches to a debut album, having shown off their jangly indie to summer festivals like Reading & Leeds, Glastonbury and Latitude, and supported the likes of Metronomy, The Libertines and Wolf Alice.
The band’s recent UK tour saw their biggest headline show to date - a sold-out night at London’s Heaven. While waiting for their next one (info on which can be found right here), watch Kieran and Joe from the band play a stripped-back version of debut single ’Get Away’ exclusively for us below.
