Tonight belongs to Alt-J as they step up to headliner status over on the Obelisk Arena. They’ve conquered plenty of European fests, but this feels like their biggest moment as a band so far. It’s a litmus test for whether or not they can triumph at the top.
Below them is Caribou and Wild Beasts, while Summer Camp open proceedings on the main stage. We can also expect Santigold to showcase new material.
All weekend, we’re hosting the DIY Presents The Alcove stage, where tons of exciting new bands cram into a space by the lake. Seafret top the bill, and one of the most talked-about new acts, Clean Cut Kid, are also playing. That’s not forgetting Tor Miller, Max Jury, Nao, Matt Woods and Oliver Daldry.
Other highlights include Formation (Lake Stage), Gengahr (iArena), Unknown Mortal Orchestra (6 Music Stage) and Jon Hopkins (6 Music Stage).
